I'm Really Happy

Fri Mar 20, 2009, 8:45 PM
My life is great.

My grades are good.

I have all my family and friends, and am even more religious. Lately I've come come across a few unfortunate families/stories and I wonder. and worry.

On a happier note, being the Broadway nerd that I am, my friends sister was skipping through the radio stations in her boyfriends car today, when I heard the name Johanna. Then, as if it wasn't already there, (and on top of that being the Sweeney Todd obsessed freak that I am,) the song Johanna popped into my head. The next thing I knew they mentioned Sondheim's name and I yelled out for them NOT to change the station. The next thing I knew, A Little Priest was on. I was, like, elated. They were talking about Sweeney Todd AND playing songs from it. The last time I remembered hearing about them doing that was on the internet, trying to see if any stations out there play show tunes. I heard a segment on the internet from NPR the day before the movie came out with a few parts from Sweeney Todd, but I was very certain that there wouldn't be any reason for them to play it again. I was kind dissappointed that they dont play it on the radio and the one (or so I thought) time they did was probabaly the last. And what do you know? Randomley driving home from the movies I catch it. I need to listen to NPR more.

Ahh, the LITTLEST things make me happy. My friend recently went to London and brought me Kinder Eggs. I was practically doing backflips. Yes, you Europeans may laugh at me. I will not eat them..yet. They're too cute.

My mom called them Easter Eggs and I totally went off on her. XD

Yup, I just had to let that all out. =)
